    CEO

With over 17 years of experience in strategic leadership, financial management, and governance across both corporate and charitable sectors, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully managed large-scale budgets, ensured regulatory compliance, and delivered impactful outcomes. Previously I have served as a North East Area Manger and FCA Approved person for a FTSE 250 finance organisation and 12 years as a Finance Director for a regional third sector organisation.  Currently, I serve as the founder and CEO of Ability Consultants, where I lead a mighty team generating over £15m p.a. in funding for the VCSE sector from Trusts & Foundations. I also hold leadership roles as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at Wessington Primary School and as Vice Chair and Treasurer at ReportOUT, where I focus on governance, funding and finance.

Driven by a strong commitment to ethical governance, transparency, and organisational financial development, I’m proud to have joined the Board of Trustees of Consilium Academies. I look forward to applying my experience in financial oversight, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement to support the organisation’s mission and help drive positive change.

Having ran competitively at a younger age I’m also a seasoned runner, running most days. I live with my partner and two kids so my spare time is made up of lots of family activities visiting farms, parks and National Trust sites.
