What’s involved:
The role of Trustee is a voluntary position, and is vital in our ambition to deliver Excellence and Equity with Integrity by providing effective and challenging governance. There are a minimum of 4 Board meetings per academic year, as well as participation in one or more committee. You will be guided and supported in your role from the outset. And all Trustees are supported to thrive in their role.
What we're looking for:
We’re looking for a number of Trustees across our regional hubs of the North East, North West and Yorkshire to take on the role of Trustees. You should have an interest in the education and development of young people, as well as the commitment to attend multiple board meetings virtually each year with the exception of one in person meeting, and able to provide effective challenge to Senior Leaders in the Trust.
This is a voluntary role. We are looking for applicants with senior management or board level experience. In particular, skills or experience within one or more of the following areas:
- Education/Quality
- Human Resources/People
- Legal/Compliance
- Operations
- Financial Management
